Cessnock named the Tidiest of them all

The winner of the iconic Keep Australia Beautiful NSW 2018 Sustainable Communities – Tidy Towns Awards was announced on Saturday 10 November during a dinner in Orange, NSW. The 2018 Tidy Town Award was presented to Cessnock, qualifying the town to represent NSW in the Keep Australia Beautiful National Tidy Towns Awards. Inner West Council crowned Sustainable City of the Year

The winner of the prestigious Keep Australia Beautiful NSW 2018 Sustainable Cities Awards was announced on Wednesday 17 October 2018. The Overall 2018 Sustainable Cities Award was presented to Inner West Council. Inner West Council was also the winner of the Recycled OrganicsAward, and was Highly Commended in the Waste Less, Recycle More – Waste MinimisationAward, which is proudly supported by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (NSW EPA), and the Renewable EnergyAward.
