Join us for the 2026 Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Sustainable Cities Awards, hosted by 2025 winner – Hornsby!

The 2026 Awards will bring together councils, businesses and community groups from across Greater Sydney to recognise and celebrate the people, projects and initiatives making a positive difference to sustainability and liveability across the region.

The Awards Luncheon will be held at Hornsby RSL on Thursday 12 November 2026, providing an opportunity to celebrate this year’s finalists, connect with fellow sustainability leaders and announce the winners across the Awards categories.

Prior to the Awards Luncheon, the Closing the Loop: FOGO, Soft Plastics and the Circular Economy Sustainability Seminar will explore practical approaches to two key areas shaping the future of sustainable waste and resource management. Following the Awards Luncheon, attendees are invited to join an optional guided visit to the new Hornsby Park. Choose a shorter trip exploring the Crusher Plant Precinct and taking in spectacular views from the Southern Lookout, or a longer journey around the Diatreme, discovering the park’s natural environment, history and unique landscape.
