Now that the NSW State Election is over, it’s time to put the candidates signage away! Whereas most signs aren’t made out of recyclable material, there are a number of creative ways to reuse them.

  • Old campaign signs can be reversed and written on with markers to make new signs for different occasions such as parties.
  • Make a birdhouse. Winter is coming, birds will love that!
  • Make your own cardboard furniture; chairs are the easiest and most common.
  • Give them to Charity like Reverse Garbage. They sometimes need those old signs for dozens of uses at their rehabilitation centre. The bigger the signs, the better.
  • Make original boxes.

The list is endless, just be creative and use your imagination!
