Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Members for 2007/2008
We are very pleased to announce that membership fees will remain the same as 2007/08 and additional membership benefits have been added. The major new benefit is the addition of the Streetscape Sustainability Tool which measures the sustainability of main streets and will be provided free of charge exclusively to members councils. This well developed electronic tool assists in setting sustainability baselines, measures strengths against other main streets and gathers data for reporting processes.
We are very pleased to have upgraded our member benefits for 2008/2009 and are looking forward to providing further benefits over the year as they are secured. Long term member councils have reported that by using only three of the sixteen benefits, the original membership cost is easily exceeded. 2008/2009 Council member benefits are:
• Substantial discounts on Waste Watchers education fees ($50 per day)
• Free use of the Sustainability Streetscape Tool to measure social, environmental and economic indicators in all main streets
• 1 free entry into Tidy Towns
• 1 vote at the AGM

• Free use of all Clean Site Program resources – To educate the building industry on best practice environmental guidelines

• Third party environmental advice, endorsement and feedback on reports, plans and proposals (i.e. EIS, SEP, POM etc)
• Access to “Butt IT, Then Bin It” Campaign Resources
• Quarterly Email Newsletter
• Use of KABNSW logo on approved and relevant Council publications
